The federal government’s Science and Technology Strategy seeks to mobilize science and technology to build a strong economy and higher living standards for Canadians. How can Atlantic Canada contribute to this national goal at the local and regional levels? What advantages does the Atlantic region have that can nurture the growth of knowledge-intensive companies and attract global players to the region? How are other countries capitalizing on the strengths of their different regions and communities to create a national advantage? This one-day event will bring together international, national and regional experts and practitioners to examine practical ways that regions like Atlantic Canada can build capacity and make significant contributions to national prosperity.
